Beautiful Custom Design Theme for Cosdocs 2021
Promoting excellence in cosmetic medicine is the mission of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA). Events are a key way the College helps its practitioners maintain their knowledge and high standards.
In 2021, CPCA worked with Jomablue to create a custom site for its CosDocs conference, a one-day online event in June featuring respected local and international speakers. With uncertainty around COVID-19, the College was committed to running virtually, but wanted attendees to have a genuinely interactive experience. That meant both the functionality and the design had to hold up, which is where Jomablue Studio’s in-house designers came in.

Quality Content, Elevated by Design
Content is at the heart of successful events, and CosDocs 2021 was packed with it. CPCA brought together experts in cosmetic medicine across two concurrent scientific streams, covering injectables, thread lifting, lasers and radio-frequency devices, the gut-skin connection, patient safety, managing complications, and business building.
The College used Jomablue to deliver 16 hours of live presentations and Q&As on the day, with recordings available for 30 days afterwards. It also offered a digital lobby, virtual sponsor booths, online networking and live chat, then worked with Jomablue Studio to tailor the theme so the content could take centre stage.

The colour palette and graphic styles were drawn from CPCA's existing marketing assets, especially its website, strengthening brand recognition, then stylised for the event pages to give them more presence.

Balanced white space, a clear content hierarchy and small high-impact touches, including a subtle background image, layered transparency and soft edges, let the content tell a story instead of crowding the screen.
